Photo Friday & Gold Photo Award

Photo Friday is a weekly meme I started for no other reason than I just love taking photographs! I’m not a professional so my photos are usually just simple snaps of life - and I don’t have a flash camera - or lots of lenses (I use a simple digital camera).

If you’d like to join in, post a photograph (that you’ve taken yourself ) that fits that week’s meme title (you can interpret the title any way you want photographically speaking). Then leave a link in the comments so we can all share it. It’s that simple!

You photo can be wordless - or you can give a little background information - whichever you prefer.

At the end of each Photo Friday post I will state the next week’s title - so that participants have a week to select an existing photo they’ve taken, or take a new one!

The Photo Friday Gold Photo Award is periodically awarded for outstanding entries. Ideally it should be displayed in a blog sidebar with a permanent link to the post it was awarded for; that way future visitors can always find the oustanding entry by pressing the link. Do please join in! The title for each week’s post is put at the bottom of the last Photo Friday post. So by scrolling down that post you should see it.

However, I can tell you in advance what the topics will be for the next few weeks:

NEXT WEEK: 9th May is entitled: Self Portrait (using your choice of gadget from this list)

Friday 16th May : Title by CuriousC: Doors, Doorways, & Entries…. to the soul, the house, a city, whatever…
