Photo Friday wasn’t planned for today ~ but because I took photos yesterday I thought I’d do an impromptu version! Do join in if you’d like to.

P wheeled me along the esplanade yesterday and en route we bought a bag of chips each to enjoy on the seafront. Yep ~ I know chips are unhealthy but a little bit of what you fancy does you good, now and then. And I really fancied those chips! What is it about chips, eaten from a paper wrapping, with a gentle sea breeze blowing through your hair that is so special? The sun shone upon us and the sky was blue, although cloudy. It was a beautiful day though (what a difference a day makes), take a look ….
Looking back towards Peak Hill from the far end of the esplanade:
Looking the other way towards the esplanade and town with Salcombe Hill Cliff in the background …

A deserted sand castle …

Zoom …

Canoes at the beach by at Jacob’s Ladder …

Walking back over the cricket field (OK, being pushed!), looking down on the esplanade …

Zooming in on a couple of seagulls getting a bird’s eye view …

Do my photos from last week of bushfire recovery count? They’re still the latest post on my blog
I wish I lived by the beach. I love it so much.
