Diva Kitty makes a guest appearance on my blog!

If you’re a regular reader of my blog you will know I adore cats! I don’t have a cat at the moment since my own beautiful much loved Siamese Lilac Point cat, Henry, died in 2004 – and I still miss him greatly.

However, one of my favourite blogs to read is Diva Kitty - a fluffy and adorable cat’s blog! So when DKM (Diva Kitty’s Mom) e-mailed me some photos of  DK (Sophia – Diva Kitty herself) for me to be creative with, I was delighted! A huge thank you – what a collaboration! I think DKM’s photographs and my digital tinkering produced a lovely fun result!

First of all I set to work with the Warholizer – and the gorgeous result is below. What do you think? Wouldn’t it make a splendid quilt design, or look stunning on canvas hanging on the wall?

Then, I tried the Hockneyizer:

Diva Kity – you are so special! DKM is very lucky!

  1. Purrs…

  2. DK – you are a superstar! ;-)

  3. so cool. Hey, I might have to ask for tech assistance… I’ve been playing with the hockneyizer and I can’t get it to post/link into my blog… how DO you do it!? Cut and paste? upload? sigh…. I can only do it for a postage stamp size showing.

  4. Hi CuriousC,

It took me a while and much cursing under my breath to work this out initially too! LOL!

Use the Hockneyizer to create your desired image – then when you have your created it, RIGHT CLICK and “SAVE AS” a jpg. in the photo section of your computer.

Then, go onto your blog as if to write a new post and click on the “add media” icon.

The select “Choose file to upload” and it will take you into the photo section of your computer where you can select your Hockneyd pic!

Then post it in to your desired blog page. If you don’t post it right away it will be stored in “media Library” ready for when you want to upload it into a post.

To get a small, medium or large size - when you select the pic from the “media library” scroll down to choose the size before clicking “insert”!

Small tip: If when you upload it into the post, the image appears in the wrong place of the post don’t panic – just right click on the image and “copy” then go to where you want the image to be, right click and “paste”.

But don’t forget then to go back to the image in the wrong place and right click “delete”

Voila – you now have a Hockneyd image in your post (or any other image you choose to tinker with)!

    :-) Happy days!

  5. I like!!! I haven’t had the chance to play around with any of these gadgets you’ve been working with. I guess I’d better find some time soon since Friday is only days away!

  6. I love this cat collaboration! I’m a cat lover, too. Can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have one, or many. We have three now. They’ve been around quite a while. I have tons of pictures of them. The two of you have inspired me to play with their pictures.

    Thanks – a new project!

  7. Thanks! I’m ready for Friday now.

  8. Good pages and design! Thanks webmaster!
