I had a real dilemma with this week’s Photo Friday entry because the photograph I wanted to enter was a portrait of my lovely husband (♥ ) – taken at a Christmas party wearing a jester’s hat. It is a gorgeous portrait - partly because he is a very handsome man (in my opinion), and partly because he is very photogenic  – but when he realised I was going to post it he declared he didn’t want that particular photo floating around the Internet since he looked such a pr*t! I did briefly consider posting it anyway – but then I realised I would not want him to post a photograph of me that I objected to. So below is my substituted entry for Photo Friday Portrait – yes, it’s still a portrait of my husband but one I don’t think he’ll object to! I haven’t told him I’m posting it though, just in case!!!!

The picture below was taken on holiday in The Canary Islands one winter – a couple of years ago. I always carry a camera with me, so I just turned towards him and snapped the picture. P has a real sense of fun and such a natural smile that photos of him always look great (just as well because he’s probably one of the most photographed men on the planet!) That’s my boy! (♥)

PS: He’s seven years older than me and was in his mid fifties when these were taken – and yes, he still has a full head of hair!
